I invite you to observe, as I did,
the blended hues of the rainbow in Niagara Falls, the reds of Arizona's
Painted Desert, and the ochres and sienas in the Montana landscape.
Contrast those with the subtle grays and greens of Virginia's
Assateague Forest and the muted colors of the morning clouds lifting
over San Francisco's Golden Gate Bridge in California.
In the wildlife photograph taken at the Wild Mustang Sanctuary in South Dakota of a mare and her foal (fondly called "Baby and Me"), note how the yellow wildflowers sprinkled throughout the field add a gentle, light touch to that scene. Similarly, the golden tones of the Aspens of the Grand Tetons and the sun setting in the Grand Canyon create a feeling of warmth in those landscapes. |
